Senior Corporate Tax SpecialistLocation: Glasgow basedIf you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.Salary: Very competitive, DOE + Excellent Benefits!Contract: Full-time, PermanentWe are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Tax Specialist to join our expanding Tax Consultancy team in Glasgow.This role sits within a national service line, working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple UK offices to deliver high-quality corporate tax compliance and advisory support.What You'll Be DoingIn this role, you'll take ownership of a varied corporate tax portfolio, providing technical oversight, mentoring junior team members, and supporting the delivery of strategic tax planning work.Your responsibilities will include:Reviewing complex corporate tax computations prepared by junior staffProviding coaching, guidance and formal training to Assistants, Seniors and Assistant ManagersMonitoring work progress, billing and recoveries across your client portfolioContributing to proactive corporate tax planning and advisory projectsWorking directly with clients and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality consultancy workParticipating in recruitment activities, including involvement in annual graduate intake processesActing as a line manager for trainees or senior colleaguesSupporting the continual improvement of processes and best practice within the tax teamWho We're Looking ForYou will be a confident tax professional with the ability to work autonomously while supporting and developing others.You should bring:EssentialCTA qualification, plus at least 2 years' experience in corporate tax compliance and/or advisoryA full UK driving licenceStrong communication skills (written and verbal)A proven ability to build strong relationships with clientsExperience mentoring or training colleaguesDesirableExperience using AlphataxBackground working within a national, regional or mid-tier accountancy firmWe are looking for someone collaborative, meticulous, and motivated someone who enjoys supporting others and contributing to a high-performing team.You'll also receive ongoing encouragement and support to continue developing your career, with a clear pathway for progression. xjdpvnf How to ApplyIf you're passionate about corporate tax and ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.Please submit your CV and a short covering note.
