Reporting to the Divisional Construction Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our homes meet regulatory and warranty standards before completionwith reference to the Persimmon Way.This is primarily a site-based role across the region, with some flexibility for home working when business needs allow.What you'll do as anIndependent Quality ControllerConduct regular quality and compliance inspections across development sitesProduce clear, accurate reports identifying risks, non-compliance and improvement actionsMonitor performance of subcontractors and site teams against agreed standardsProvide constructive feedback and coaching to support quality improvementInvestigate workflow or compliance issues and ensure corrective actions are implementedWork collaboratively with construction, technical, commercial and buying teams to uphold build standardsContribute to continuous improvement in line with the Persimmon WayThis role is about raising standards through partnership and influence not just inspection.What experience do I need?We're open to candidates from a range of construction and quality-related backgrounds.Experience in construction quality (or related background), inspection, compliance, or a similar technical role including residential, building control, social housing, engineering, retrofit, warranty inspection or other regulated construction environments.Knowledge of UK building regulations and warranty standards (or the ability to develop this quickly)Relevant construction, inspection or quality-related qualifications or equivalent practical experienceStrong report writing and communication skillsConfidence working independently while collaborating across multiple teamsA proactive, improvement-focused mindsetA driving licence is required due to regional site travel. xjdpvnf If you require reasonable adjustments to support this, please let us know we are committed to making our recruitment process accessible.
