Our client are a leading Truck HGV supplier and service provider who are looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their established team.Working closely with the other technician you will join a well established workforce and the company have been recognised as a Top Employer in the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesService, repair and maintenance of HGV's Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on HGVs to identify mechanical issues and safety concernsPerform repairs and maintenance tasks using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to restore vehicles to optimal conditionUse technical instruments such as ohmmeters to test electrical systems and ensure proper functionalityReplace worn or damaged parts, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension componentsMaintain accurate records of all work carried out, including service reports and defect logsCollaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely completion of repairsAttendance on call outsLiaising closely with the parts departmentCompletion of jobs records and all associated adminLiaising with clientsWhat they are looking forFully qualified HGV DriverExperienced in vehicle maintenance and repair within a commercial or heavy vehicle environment - 1 years experienceNVQ Level 3 or equivalent Team PlayerFlexible on hours and willing to carry out overtimeWhat the Company offer - to includeWorking Hours 4 days on/off - Shifts between 7 am and 7pmOvertime Easy access to motorway networkOther benefits to include Pension, death in servicePlease make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.Apply for immediate interview !We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
