This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs.About the Role - Complex Needs Teaching Assistant You will be working closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including ASD, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and communication needs. The role focuses on building positive relationships, supporting emotional regulation, and helping pupils access learning through adapted and individualised approaches.Key responsibilities include:Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis within the classroomAssisting with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needsEncouraging communication, independence, and social developmentSupporting sensory regulation and structured routinesWorking collaboratively with teachers and wider specialist staffPromoting a safe, calm and inclusive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:Patient, nurturing and emotionally resilientPassionate about supporting children with additional needsConfident working within structured routines and supportive environmentsAble to build strong, positive relationships with pupilsAdaptable and proactive in supporting learning and wellbeingCandidates with experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant would be highly beneficial, particularly those with a background supporting autism or complex needs.
