Trading since 2014, we have grown to become a respected name in domestic solar PV and battery storage installations across the Midlands. As demand for renewable technologies continues to rise, we are seeking a capable and motivated Head of Installations to join our expanding team.Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee on-site installation activitiesInstall, commission, and test solar PV systems, battery storage, and associated equipmentCarry out AC/DC wiring, testing, fault finding, and diagnosticsEnsure compliance with current electrical regulations and safety standardsProvide guidance and support to installation teamsLiaise confidently with customers and represent the company professionallyMaintain high standards of workmanship and efficiencyComplete certification and installation documentationRequirementsFully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, etc.)Minimum 2 years' experience installing solar PV systemsStrong understanding of BS 7671 and electrical safety regulationsExperience with inverters and battery systemsCustomer-focused with excellent communication skillsCommercially aware and solution-orientedFull UK driving licenceAbility to work independently and lead teams effectivelyRight to work in the UKDesirable ExperienceInstallation of EV chargersExperience with other renewable energy technologiesPrevious supervisory or leadership responsibilitiesWorking ConditionsWork is performed primarily on Domestic PropertiesSome work will be on Commercial PropertiesRequires standing, walking, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditionsMay require overtime or weekend work depending on project schedule(But rare)What's on OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and competencyCompany van + fuel cardOvertime opportunities28 days holiday (including bank holidays)Pension schemeAll tools and equipment providedLong-term stability within a growing companyGenuine career progression opportunitiesNext StepsApply to this Head of Installations role through this advert.
