Job Description Family Law SolicitorLocation: Windsor hybrid working from home 1 day per weekSalary: 50-55K plus bonus and excellent benefits packageThe OpportunityOur client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with over 100 years of history. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join their Windsor team.This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys autonomy, is confident managing their own caseload, and thrives in a client-facing environment. The role offers genuine long-term progression, with a clear route to Head of Department and ultimately Partnership.Supported by shared paralegals and legal executives, you will take ownership of a varied private family law caseload whilst also contributing to the continued growth of the department.Key RequirementsMinimum 2 years PQE in Family LawAbility to manage a caseload independentlyStrong experience across a broad range of private family law mattersConfidence in a highly client-facing roleStrong communication, client care and relationship-building skillsComfortable working with limited supervisionA proactive, hands-on approach, including an interest in business developmentGood IT and case management systems experienceExperience of DPS IT Case Management System would be beneficial, but is not essentialRole and ResponsibilitiesManage a varied Family Law caseload from instruction through to conclusionHandle matters including divorce, financial disputes, children matters, separation agreements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, care proceedings and domestic abuseMeet clients face-to-face and deliver a high standard of client careRepresent clients at hearings and in court where requiredWork independently and progress matters efficientlySupport the continued growth of the department through a hands-on approachContribute to business developmentMaintain high standards of risk management and complianceWork collaboratively with colleagues and support staffSalary, Bonus and BenefitsCirca 50,000 at around 2 years PQECirca 55,000 at around 4 years PQE15% on-target bonus linked to billable invoices25 days annual leaveStandard pensionPrivate office for every employeeModern office environment4 days in the office / 1 day working from home, with flexibility on the home-working dayThis is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking autonomy, career progression and the chance to join a respected firm where they can make a real impact.
