This company has a proven track record in promoting from within, the recent incumbent of this role has been promoted to workshop controller.You will work for an experienced franchise Service Leader and can benefit from manufacturer training, a great atmosphere and plenty of work to keep you productive!Our client is welcoming applications from experienced service Technicians trained to diagnostic or master technician levels, within in a franchised dealer environment.You will require a Full UK drivers licence and have your own tools.Depending on your skill level, the role will involve:Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical workComplete major electrical and engine repair workMeet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessaryCarry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried outUsing advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brandAbility to complete a Vehicle Health Check (VHC) ensuring that the (VHC) video completion meets target and exceeds all Vehicle (VHC) KPIsRole Requirements:Technical knowledge to allow you to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles.Demonstrate capability and confidence in using systems and equipment within the workshopExperience within a franchise dealer working to the highest quality standards Experience of working to productivity targetsWorking as part of a team to achieve the best results for the customerQualified by experience in post or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and RepairMentor & Coach apprentices and support less experienced team membersBenefits:3 month guaranteed bonus upon joiningPensionCritical illness payLife insurance23 days holiday plus bank holidaysExclusive company discounts on used car purchasesLeasing deals and aftersales servicesFrom a salary perspective, the role has a basic salary ofBasic Salary Between 32,000 and 42,000 plus bonus = OTE 46,000 dependent on your previous experience.The current team is achieving a 20% bonus year on year.This is a small insight into a fantastic role.
