Job Description Concierge Team Leader - Supported Accommodation Congleton and Macclesfield 26,910 per year Enhanced DBS (Adult Barred List) requiredASE Recruitment are specialist recruiters in the social housing and social care sectors providing temporary staffing to work within a variety of 24 hour supported accommodation services and floating support services for Housing Associations and Charities across the Northwest, Midlands, and Derbyshire.This is a full time temporary role, which can become a full time permanent role for the right candidate.The Role As Concierge Team Leader, you will supervise the concierge team to ensure the service operates safely and effectively, particularly during evenings, nights, and weekends. You will support staff, respond to incidents, and ensure procedures relating to safeguarding, security, and resident welfare are followed. You will also play an important role in maintaining a calm and professional environment, supporting residents and liaising with support staff where necessary. Key Responsibilities Team LeadershipSupervise and support Concierge staff during shiftsProvide guidance, direction, and oversight to ensure consistent service deliverySupport staff with incident management and escalation proceduresPromote a positive and professional team cultureService Safety and SecurityOversee the safety and security of the building and residentsMonitor access to the building and manage visitor entry proceduresRespond to incidents, emergencies, and safeguarding concernsEnsure accurate recording of incidents, events, and handoversResident and Service SupportProvide a visible and supportive presence within the serviceRespond appropriately to resident concerns or welfare issuesWork collaboratively with support staff and management teamsPromote a safe and respectful living environmentAdministration and MonitoringMaintain accurate logs, reports, and handover informationEnsure policies and procedures are followed at all timesSupport the monitoring of service standards and compliance What We're Looking For EssentialExperience working within supported accommodation, housing, or security/concierge servicesExperience supervising or leading staffStrong understanding of safeguarding and working with vulnerable adultsAbility to remain calm and professional in challenging situationsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain accurate records and incident reportsPersonal QualitiesReliable and responsibleCalm under pressure with strong problem-solving skillsConfident leading and supporting othersProfessional, approachable, and respectfulThis role requires an Enhanced DBS check with barred list clearance (Adults).ASE recruitment is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults accessing our services.
