Working across a range of sectors including energy, utilities, transport, and commercial developments, supporting clients with innovative design solutions and efficient project delivery.As part of our continued growth, weare seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design & Build Manager to join theirteam in Inverness and lead the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.The RoleThe Infrastructure Design & Build Manager will play a key leadership role in overseeing the planning, design coordination, and construction delivery of infrastructure projects. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact on infrastructure development in the Highlands and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure design and build projectsManage project teams including engineers, designers, contractors, and consultantsCoordinate design development, technical approvals, and construction deliveryEnsure projects meet budget, programme, quality, and safety requirementsManage client relationships and stakeholder engagementOversee procurement of contractors and suppliersMonitor project risks and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and health & safety standardsProvide regular reporting on project progress to senior leadershipAbout YouWe are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in infrastructure or construction project delivery.Essential:Proven experience managing infrastructure design and build projectsStrong understanding of civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure developmentExperience managing multi-disciplinary project teamsExcellent project management and organisational skillsStrong stakeholder and client management abilitiesKnowledge of health & safety regulations and construction standardsAbility to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectivelyDesirable:Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplineProfessional accreditation (e.g. ICE, APM, or similar)Experience working on energy, utilities, or large infrastructure projectsThis role offers a hybrid opportunity so whilst the majority of work can be done from home a requirement to go to the office or to site will also be required on a weekly basis.For more information please contact Lyndsey at Global HighlandJBRP1_UKTJ
