Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedCommercial Account Executive/Account Handlerto join a growing,professional insurance brokerage.The purpose of this role is to generate revenue, drive profitability, and deliver a high-quality, compliant service to commercial clients. You will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and provide full support to the Managing Director and wider team.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business & GrowthProactively generate and convert new commercial business opportunitiesIdentify cross-selling and referral opportunitiesProspect new clients through marketing campaigns and promotional activityAccount ManagementManage a portfolio of commercial clients, including new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustmentsAssess risks and negotiate with insurers to secure appropriate coverPresent recommendations to clients and ensure cover is placed on riskHandle claims efficiently and liaise with insurers and underwritersMonitor renewal lists and maintain accurate reporting dataCompliance & AdministrationEnsure all activities comply with FCA regulations and company proceduresMaintain accurate client records, files, and documentationManage complaints in line with regulatory requirementsMaintain diary systems and ensure timely follow-up of all client communicationsPerformance & DevelopmentAchieve agreed KPIs, including new business, renewals, cross-selling, and profitabilityMaintain high levels of customer service and professional standardsParticipate in ongoing training in line with the companys Training & Competence programmeThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience in a Commercial Account Executive or Account Handler roleStrong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk assessmentProven ability to generate new business and manage renewalsExcellent negotiation and client relationship skillsStrong understanding of FCA compliance and regulatory requirementsHighly organised with strong attention to detailAbility to work to targets and deadlinesWhats on OfferSalary from 30,000+ (depending on experience)Opportunity to grow within a professional and supportive environmentLong-term career progressionDue to the high volume of applications Recruited UK receives, we will make every effort to respond with feedback, although this is not always possible.
