The role will oversee their communications strategy, enhance our recruitment and help put the club on the map locally. Ickleton CC is a thriving, friendly and inclusive club with dedicated youth, senior and womens teams. We are additionally in the process of developing a girls team.This is a part time role, approximately 3-4 days per month, reviewing after one yearWhat the role involvesBuilding on the clubs reputation as an inclusive club and shaping how it is perceived in the wider community and across the region within cricketIncreasing the clubs visibility and engaging the local communityHelping with recruitment of players and volunteersBuilding relationships with local businesses to gain sponsorsSkills & ExperienceContent creation for press, website and social mediaManaging social media platformsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBasic graphic design skills (desirable, not essential)The xjdpvnf Right PersonMotivated, proactive and able to work independentlyAn interest in cricket and community sport (desirable)Creative, strategic and open to new ideasWho Can ApplyIdeally someone local or with strong local linksRole can be voluntary or paid, depending on experience and availabilityClosing date for interest is 13/03/2026
