A Chartered Practice in Ripon is looking for an Accountant to join their friendly team in the Yorkshire Countryside.Responsibilities:To work within the accounts team preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with a particular focus on farming and agricultural clientsPreparing associated income, partnership, and corporation tax returnsPreparing tax computations and advising clients on tax issuesSupporting the directors on more complex assignmentsSupporting and advising clients on a range of accounting and taxation mattersRequirements:Accountancy practice experienceAAT/ACCA/ACA QualifiedKnowledge of accounting and tax matters for farming and agricultural clientsIT skills inc SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks, Farmplan (preferred) and IRIS (preferred)Strong communication skills, as well as being able to work as part of a teamBenefits:Salary up to 40,000 - 48,000, depending on experience24 days holiday, plus bank holidaysPaid OvertimeCompany Pension SchemeRegular Staff EventsRef: 23076JBRP1_UKTJ
