Job Description Quality Inspector Up to 38,000South EastClarkson Evans is the largest electrical and solar installer working in the new build housing sector, wiring over 24,000 homes a year. As a market-leader we have a strong reputation for high quality and customer service and you'll play an important part in helping us maintain this. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician to further develop their career. We'll supply you with a VW Caddy Van and all the equipment you need, including an iPad for accessing technical information and a company mobile phone.ResponsibilitiesAssist Quality & Compliance Manager with our drive to maximise the quality of work carried out by our on-site electrical teamsAchieving compliance with the wiring regulations and company proceduresReducing the need for customer care calloutsConduct in person site audits on the electrical and solar PV installationsConduct desktop audits on electrical and solar PV installationsEnsure workforce are given clear, consistent guidance on expectationsRequirementsFully qualified electrician (NVQ3)Experienced and self-motivated electrician with an in-depth knowledge of domestic installations18th Edition Wiring RegulationsSolar PV experience preferred but training will be providedStrong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing the ability to form a good rapport with colleagues and customers through personal interactions and via emailProfessional demeanour and good personal disciplineStrong organisational skills, including the ability to time manage and prioritise effectivelyAbility to work well under pressureDriven to maximise own productivityGood IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and ExcelFull driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide as the job requiresClarkson Evans is an equal opportunities employer and we're proud of our fair and inclusive recruitment process.
