Job Description Role: Mobile Hydraulic Hose TechnicianLocation: Field BasedSalary: Up to 35,000 depending on experienceOur client is looking for a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our growing team, providing on-site hydraulic hose repair and replacement services to customers across construction, agriculture, transport, mining, and industrial sectors.As a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician, you will operate a fully equipped service vehicle and respond to customer breakdowns and scheduled maintenance calls. You'll manufacture and replace hydraulic hoses on-site, diagnose faults, and ensure equipment is back up and running safely and efficiently.Responsibilities include:Attend customer sites to repair and replace hydraulic hosesManufacture and crimp hose assemblies on-site to required specificationsDiagnose hydraulic hose failures and recommend preventative solutionsSafely depressurize and isolate hydraulic systems before workMaintain service vehicle stock levels and equipmentComplete job sheets, service reports, and invoicing documentationProvide professional and friendly customer serviceFollow all company and site safety proceduresSkills & Experience Experience with hydraulic hose assembly and crimpingKnowledge of hydraulic systems and fittingsPrevious mobile service or breakdown experienceTrade qualification (Mechanical / Fitting & Turning / Diesel Mechanic - advantageous but not essential)Mechanical aptitude (experience in hydraulics, fitting, mechanical trades, or similar preferred)Ability to work independently in a mobile field roleStrong problem-solving skillsGood communication and customer service skillsValid driver's licenseCommitment to health 'safetyWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
