Job Description Info about the company An innovative and industry-leading organisation specialising in the development of high-end navigation and positioning systems for the Autonomous vehicles, Aerospace Drones, Geo Mapping and Robotics sectors.Info about what the x2 Support Engineer role entailsX 2 brand new Support Engineer/ Test & Diagnosis Engineer roles as our client splits their Customer Support and a Test/QA team into 2 functions and creates a new support team, focused on the UK, Europe and Latin America markets. You will be happy to travel globally (all expenses paid), with a can-do approach and a desire to provide an excellent customer experience. Essential Requirements for the x2 Senior Support Engineer / Test & Diagnosis Engineer rolesTechnical degree in engineering or equivalent experience (Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications or Mathematics would also be good).Experience with technical troubleshooting & fault diagnostics for complex hardware/software/electronics. A methodical fault-finding approachTechnical support / fault finding experience within products in industry sectors such as Autonomous vehicles, Aerospace (Drones), Telecoms (antenna, aerials etc), Surveying or RoboticsAble to work in a customer facing environment - working under pressure, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.Happy to travel within the UK, Europe and Latin America sometimes at short noticeDesirable Requirements for the x2 Senior Support Engineer / Test & Diagnosis rolesGNSS / Tracking & Monitoring / Georeferencing / Precision Control / Positioning / Localisation / MEMS / Inertial navigation / LIDAR / Sensor fusion type product experience.Experience working with automotive test houses.Experience working with different cultures across Asia, Latin America, Europe etc would be helpful but not essential.
