Job Description Assessor/Trainer Plumbing and Gas Salary: 31,110 36,157 Location: Cambridge & Huntingdon Are you an experienced plumbing and gas professional looking to make a real difference? Were recruiting an Assessor/Trainer to join a busy, high-performing Construction Department in the Cambridgeshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to share your industry expertise and help shape the next generation of skilled professionals.What youll do:Deliver engaging, high-quality training, coaching, and support to apprenticesConduct workplace assessments and progress reviewsMonitor and accurately track apprentice progressPrepare apprentices for End Point Assessment (EPA)Build strong professional relationships with employers across the regionContribute to business development and employer engagement activitiesStay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and Health & Safety requirementsMaintain clear and comprehensive records and documentationThis role offers agile working, blending on-site delivery, workplace visits, and remote administrative work from home.What were looking for:Level 3 (or higher) qualification in PlumbingStrong, relevant industry experienceAssessor and/or IQA qualifications (desirable)Teaching or assessing experience (desirable)Solid understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirementsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence with digital systems and toolsFlexible, professional, and collaborative approachValid UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle, or ability to travel across Cambridgeshire and neighbouring countiesSafeguarding: All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS with Barred List check.
