Job Description FM Conway is looking for aDrainage Operativeto join our dedicated Water and Drainage Management team to support essential infrastructure across the highway network. In this role, youll work as part of a skilledtwo-person crew, carrying out a variety of vital tasks, including thecleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of drainage systems.Whether you already have experience in the drainage industry or are looking to start a new and rewarding career, we offerfull training and ongoing supportto help you succeed and grow in the role. This is a full time, permanent based innnThe duties of the DrainageOperative role will include:nn-Assisting the HGV Drainage Engineers with a variety of drainage tasks, includinghigh-pressure water jetting (HPWJ)to inspect, clean, and maintain drainage networks.nn-Carrying outdrainage cleaning and investigationactivities to identify and resolve issues.nn-Supporting the safe and effective use ofhigh-pressure water jetting equipment.nn-Responding promptly toreactive and emergency callouts, helping to resolve urgent drainage problems.nn-Operating theGIS Trimble unitaccurately and efficiently, following all company procedures and safety guidelines.nnWhat skills and experience do you need?nnTo be considered for this role, you have afull UK driving licence.Experience in a similar role with high-pressure water jetting would be an advantage, itsnot essential-we can providefull trainingto help you develop the skills you need.
