Quality & Safety Coordinator Havant Permanent Full time 34,000 Overview: My client is seeking a proactive Quality and Safety Coordinator to ensure top-tier product quality and a safe workplace within the manufacturing operations. This role drives compliance, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety and quality across all teams. Key Responsibilities: Oversee quality assurance, inspections, documentation, and equipment calibration. Lead process improvements and corrective actions to enhance product quality and reduce waste. Manage supplier quality and maintain weld certifications. Develop and implement safety policies, conduct audits, and deliver employee training. Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and relevant regulations; prepare reports for audits. Communicate performance metrics and collaborate with production teams, management, suppliers, and auditors. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of quality and safety systems, Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO standards. Analytical problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
