Aquarius Practitioner Salary: 25,842 - 27,882 Contract Type: Permanent, 37 hours Please note this is a outreach role across North Northamptonshire communities. Therefore travel is essential so driving licence and car are essential Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band. About Aquarius Aquarius Action Projects is a long-established charity (since 1977) based in Birmingham with a national reach of contracts and Partnerships. Aquarius is a subsidiary of Waythrough a large charity that specialises in mental health, alcohol, drugs and related areas. Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Together, weve created one of the largest mental health and social support charities in England. About The Role Practitioners provide advice, assessment, brief and structured interventions, group programmes and training courses. Practitioners are expected to work not only from Aquarius offices but also in primary care, arrest referral, hospital and youth settings and other outreach settings as required by the service specification. Duties and Responsibilities Working in a way that recognises and values diversity and with an understanding of the functional model of substance misuse, the model of change, CBT and a commitment to Recovery, the practitioner will: Provide advice, screening, brief and comprehensive assessments with individual, families or couples. Provide brief and longer term structured interventions. Develop a care plan and ensure it is implemented and reviewed with the client(s) and monitor outcomes. Provide case management and ensure integrated pathways. Provide advice and structured support for affected others. Provide group programmes and support groups. Maintain written records and data.
