Business Development Manager Sector: Education & TrainingField-based | Regional territory | South West UK Salary: £35,000-£42,000 OTE £12,000 (uncapped) Our client is a fast-growing UK Awarding Organisation and established End-Point Assessment provider, partnering with over 500 schools, colleges, universities and training providers globally.With continued growth and investment across their sales division, they’re now looking to hire a Business Development Manager to drive regional expansion and build strategic partnerships across the education and training landscape.This is a field-based, relationship-led BDM role - focused on winning new business, growing existing customers and positioning the organisation as a long-term awarding and assessment partner.The roleOwn a defined regional patchGrow 50–100 existing customersWin new business with colleges and training providersSell TQUK as a long-term awarding and assessment partner, not a one-off supplierSpend around 3 days a week on the road, meeting customers and attending eventsManage a consultative sales cycle (1–12 months)You’re supported by sales support and customer success teams, so the focus stays on relationships and growth, not admin.Package£35,000 – £42,000 basic salary£5,200 car allowance£12,000 OTE (uncapped, paid quarterly)Mileage paid at HMRC ratesAnnual salary reviews and additional incentivesBenefits25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service)Birthday day offAnnual loyalty bonusAnnual salary reviewsBupa healthcareStructured onboarding and trainingSupportive, people-first culture with strong work/life balance focusAbout youExperience in B2B business development or consultative salesStrong relationship builder with confidence and presenceComfortable working field-based within a regional patchEducation or training experience beneficial but not essential This is a unique opportunity to inherit a large number of active accounts, build long-term relationships whilst managing your own diary and pipeline.
