Relationship Manager | Cornwall | Up to £55,000 Are you a lending professional looking to have a genuine impact on start-ups and small businesses?Want to be part of a brilliant lending team and manage your own diary?Tired of the red tape and pace of the corporate bank and looking for autonomy?We're looking for a high-calibre Senior Relationship Manager with an awesome boutique lender to support high-growth and start-up businesses in the South West.This is a unique player-coach role sitting in the pocket of day-to-day lending activities, as well as leading a team of calibre Relationship Managers across the region.If you have a minimum of 10 years of experience in business/corporate lending, debt finance or credit analysis, we'd love to hear from you.Key deliverablesBuild out your own portfolio of regional businesses and advise on their funding needsAct as point person to SLT on pipeline monitoringAnalyse clients' business plans and loan appraisals, and provide strategic recommendations to clientsCultivate strong relationships with intermediaries in the region and network accordinglyWork closely with the Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee on presenting high-quality opportunitiesQualificationsMin 10 years' of SME/corporate lending experienceAbility to manage multiple projects and clientsA collaborative team player with ability to manage their own calendarExperience of team leadership or direct line management
