We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Technical Instructor to join our Clinical Skills and Simulation Team in the area of Mental Health Nursing. This position is perfect for a qualified nurse seeking to transition into an educational environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering clinical skills and simulation-based training, maintaining high-quality simulation equipment and supporting learners as they develop essential clinical competencies. As a key member of our team, you will deliver exceptional technical support to both internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with academic staff and fellow technicians, youll plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate engaging clinical and professional skills sessions, as well as simulation-based activities across a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate health and social care courses. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating and maintaining specialist equipment, ensuring everything is in optimal condition for teaching and learning. In addition, youll provide a comprehensive programme of skills instruction that empowers learners to develop confidence and competence in real-world clinical practice.
