Support and Safeguarding Service - Empowering Families, Protecting Futures An Exciting opportunity has arisen within ourSupport and Safeguardingservice for an ASYE Development Manager to join our dedicated and supportive team! The Support and Safeguarding Service work with some of our most vulnerable children in Wiltshire, including children in need, children in need of protection, children who are the subject of family proceedings and a proportion of our looked after children. As the ASYE Development Manager,you willmanage thecaseload,supervise,coach, and mentora cohort of newly qualified social workers navigating their Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE).You'llberesponsible forguiding andmonitoringtheirdevelopment over 12 months,carefully reviewing their portfolios andobservingtheir professional practice to ensure growth andproficiencyin the field. Your main goal is to empower these social workerstoreachtheir full potentialand ensure high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities include supervising, promoting development, andmodellingbest practices to cultivate a high-performance culture. To qualify, you must be a registered social worker with Social Worker Englandregistration,possessinga minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience. Demonstrating your ability to coach, mentor, or supervise other students or social workers is essential. This position comes with a 15 % market supplement payment.
