We're seeking a passionate, values-led Registered Manager who can hit the ground running to lead the home to outstanding outcomes and a strong Ofsted rating.Salary, bonus and benefits£50,000–£52,000 per annum (depending on experience)Performance bonus linked to Ofsted outcomes and occupancy/key performance indicator (KPI) delivery28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension, wellbeing supportFunded continuing professional development (CPD) (including Level 5 if needed), coaching, clear progression pathwayStrong backing: dedicated central team handling recruitment and human resources (HR); supportive senior leadership teamPractical: mileage allowance, on-call allowance, free parkingAbout the homeCapacity: 3 children (8–17), mixed genderModel: Child-centred, trauma-informed, attachment-aware practicePurpose: Safe, stable, nurturing environment with ambitious plans for education, health and participationCommunity: Strong partnerships with local schools, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and safeguarding networks*What you'll do*Register with Ofsted as the Home's Manager and ensure full compliance with:Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality StandardsChildren Act 1989, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and local proceduresLead and develop a high-performing team:Supervision, coaching, appraisals, training, and reflective practiceRobust rota management and safe staffingDeliver high-quality, safe care:Placement matching, admissions, care planning and risk managementIncident oversight, safeguarding and escalation, learning reviewsDrive outcomes and performance:Placement stability, education engagement, health outcomes and participationMaintain meticulous records, audits and Regulation 44/45 processes; prepare for and lead inspectionsManage referrals, occupancy and budget; build strong relationships with local authorities, Independent Reviewing Officers (IROs), families and community partnersParticipate in the on-call rota and provide operational cover when required*What you'll bring*Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Manager in an Ofsted-registered children's residential home.
