The salary for this role is up to 35k, depending on experience. What you'll be doing Support between Engineering, Quality & Production by being the PoC for mechanical engineering queries Support Mechanical Engineers in prototyping development, trial builds and assembly. Design, build, assemble and set-to-work test fixtures and custom jigs to support engineering activities Prepare and set up test equipment for mechanical, electronic, and system-level testing Participate in external testing activities, such as EMC, environmental compliance testing and Sea-borne trials activities as required Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring readiness for engineering tasks across SEA Engineering lab locations About our company At SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient.We provide state-of-the-art applications for naval ship and fleet protection, and undersea surveillance systems. Alternatives include a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma, BTEC Level 3 National Diploma, T Level in Engineering, or completion of an Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship.
