Job Description We are working with a well-established, main contractor that delivers a high volume of public-sector refurbishment projects, primarily across healthcare environments and social housing upgrade programmes.Due to continued workload they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to take a lead role in pricing and securing work.The RoleLeading the estimating function on refurbishment projects valued between 1m and 5mPricing healthcare refurbishments (live environments, phased works, compliance-led)Estimating social housing refurbishments, including kitchen and bathroom replacement programmesCarrying out take-offs from drawings and specifications Working closely with Directors and Estimting DirectorUnderstanding and pricing within public-sector procurement Key RequirementsProven experience as a Senior Estimator or strong Estimator with a main contractorSolid background in public-sector funded projectsExperience within healthcare refurbishments and/or social housing upgradesExcellent attention to detail and commercial awarenessConfident communicator, able to work collaboratively and independentlyWorking ArrangementHybrid / flexible working available up to 34 days per week WFH if desiredWhats on OfferLong-term, stable role within a growing contractorConsistent pipeline of secured public-sector workFlexibility rarely offered in estimating rolesCompetitive salary and package, dependent on experienceThis opportunity would suit a hands-on Senior Estimator who enjoys refurbishment work, understands public-sector tendering, and wants flexibility without sacrificing project quality or workload.JBRP1_UKTJ
