Job Description Catering EngineerLocation: Grimsby / Hull / Doncaster / ScunthorpeSalary: Up to 40,000 basic + overtime, oncall & company vanI'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established, customer-focused commercial catering equipment service provider who are continuing to expand their coverage across the Doncaster-Hull corridor. Due to sustained growth, they are now looking to add an experienced Catering Engineer to their team. My client is also keen to speak with engineers who have a strong electrical-only catering background, even if they are not fully gas qualified.This role will involve carrying out reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance across Grimsby, Hull, Doncaster and Scunthorpe. You'll be working largely independently across the region with a fully stocked company van, digital job management system, and strong support from the service office, while also collaborating with the wider engineering team when required.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintenance and breakdown repair of commercial gas and electric catering equipmentWorking across a variety of sites including hospitality, care, education and retailFault finding, diagnostics and safety checks in line with Gas Safe regulationsMaintaining clear communication with customers and internal teamsManaging your daily workload and job reporting via mobile deviceThe Ideal CandidateProven experience as a Commercial Catering EngineerCOMCAT 1, 3 & 5 (essential)Full UK driving licenceStrong communication skills and a customer-focused approachF-Gas qualification (desirable but not essential)Based anywhere between Doncaster and HullWhat's On OfferUp to 40,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)Overtime and on-call rota with additional earningsCompany van, fuel card, tools, uniform and mobile phone25 days holiday plus bank holidaysOngoing technical training and manufacturer-approved coursesA supportive, well-organised company with a strong reputationInterested?
