Job Description Were currently recruiting for an Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer to join a well-established and growingelectrical manufacturingbusiness. This is a hands-on role where youll play a key part in ensuring high-quality, fully compliant electrical products are tested, certified, and ready for customer acceptance. If you enjoy fault-finding, working with high-voltage systems, and collaborating with engineering and production teams, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a technically varied and safety-focused environment.The Role Youll be responsible for carrying out electrical testing and inspection activities in line with product certification requirements, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures, and defined workmanship standards. Key responsibilities include:Inspection and testing of in-house designed electrical productsCalibration and testing of high-voltage electrical systemsProducing, completing, and reviewing test reports, certificates, and recordsAccurately recording test results, anomalies, and deviationsSupporting FAT preparation and customer witness testingFault finding and repair of electrical and associated systems using schematics and assembly drawingsAssisting with manufacturing activities when requiredIdentifying improvements and raising non-conformances, engineering change requests, and JIRA reportsSetting up, verifying, and maintaining test rigs and fixturesTroubleshooting test equipment and interfaces prior to testingLiaising closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve test-related issuesEnsuring tools, equipment, and test systems are correctly maintained and within calibrationCompleting production job cards and quality documentation accuratelyMaintaining clean, safe, and efficient working areas and adhering to PPE requirementsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, youll ideally have:NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a similar disciplineExperience working within the electronics or electrical engineering industryHands-on experience with high-voltage electrical systemsA good understanding of Quality Management Systems, ideally ISO 9001Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelA methodical approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and qualityWhats on Offer25 days holiday (incl.
