Job Description Lead Maintenance Engineer Salary: To 50,000 basic + 5900 Call Out + OvertimeHours: 42.5 hrs/week, Mon-Fri + 1-in-4 call-out rotaTemp - Perm role We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to manage and lead all engineering and maintenance activities at a busy Waste to Energy site in Gloucestershire.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day maintenance and engineering operationsEnsure compliance with HSE regulations and safe systems of workMaintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems (including CHP engines, pumps and feedstock equipment)Manage the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmeMinimise downtime through effective fault diagnosisSupervise technicians and contractorsAct as technical lead for plant upgrades and improvementsParticipate in out-of-hours call-out rotaAbout YouQualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (ONC, C&G, HNC)Min 3 years' hands-on engineering experience in an industrial environmentExperience of mechanical and electrical systemsWorking knowledge of pneumatic systems, pumps, hydraulics, heating systemsConfident leader with strong problem-solving skillsAD or renewable energy experience desirableInterested?
