Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter Location: Peterborough Salary: 13 - 19 per hour (negotiable, based on experience) Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a variety of plant machinery. You will be required to work both on-site at our depot and at client locations, ensuring equipment is kept in safe and reliable working order. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and repair plant machinery, including telehandlers, excavators, dumpers, and rollers. Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site mechanical support as required. Work at the company depot between breakdowns. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards. Requirements: Proven experience as a plant fitter or similar mechanical role. Experience with telehandlers, excavators, dumpers, and rollers is desirable but not essential. Must have own tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
