We are seeking a Software Engineer to enhance our control systems and user interfaces, supporting the design, development, and integration of advanced machine functionality. Role Summary A growing engineering team is looking for a skilled Automation Panel Electrician to build, wire, and test high-quality control panels for a range of industrial automation projects. Key Responsibilities Assemble and wire automation control panels from engineering drawings and schematics Integration of equipment and field wiring Install components such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, relays, power supplies, and safety devices Carry out panel testing, fault-finding, and quality checks before dispatch Support installation and commissioning activities on customer sites when required Ensure all work meets electrical standards and internal quality procedures Collaborate with engineers to resolve design or wiring issues Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a panel wirer, automation electrician, or similar role Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams Knowledge of industrial control systems and automation components Competent in cable routing, termination, panel layout and machine wiring Understanding of relevant electrical regulations and safety practices Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail What we offer Competitive salary 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme Opportunities for professional development and training A collaborative and innovative working environment Location: This role is based at our UK facility in Worcester UK TPBN1_UKTJ
