Senior Care Assistant Residential Care Home (Weston-super-Mare) Nurse Seekers are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential care home in Weston-super-Mare for an experienced and committed Senior Care Assistant . This role offers an excellent opportunity for a senior care professional to take on added responsibility within a supportive team, helping to deliver high standards of care to elderly residents. Hours: Average 24 hours per week on a weekly rota Alternate weekend working required Shift patterns: 08:0014:00 and 14:0020:00 On-call responsibilities shared between the senior team Pay Rate: 14.25 per hour Key Responsibilities: Supporting the day-to-day running of the home alongside management Leading shifts and supervising care staff Administering medication in line with training and policies Ensuring high standards of person-centred care at all times Acting as a senior point of contact for staff, residents, and families Maintaining accurate care documentation and contributing to care planning Requirements: Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader Medication trained Experience within elderly residential care QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care , or working towards this qualification Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills A compassionate and professional approach to care This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant seeking a flexible role within a high-quality residential care environment.
