AsRegistered Manager, you'll be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can thrive.Leadership & ManagementTake ownership of the home's operations and ensure every aspect runs smoothlyInspire and lead a professional team, fostering a positive, high-performance cultureProvide exceptional, individualised care to children and young people, putting their needs firstStrategic Growth & ImprovementDrive continuous improvement and implement strategies for the home's growth and successIdentify opportunities for development and raise standards across the boardBuild strong relationships with local authorities, external agencies, and the communityCompliance & SafeguardingMaintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and other relevant standardsChampion a robust safeguarding culture, prioritising the welfare of children and young peopleEnsure all policies and procedures are current and effectively implementedFlexibility & DedicationAdapt your schedule to meet the home's needs, including evening and weekend work or occasional sleeping-in dutiesLead by example, stepping in when needed to support your team and foster a culture of collaborationWhat You BringTo thrive in this role, you'll need to bring passion, leadership, and a proven track record in child care:Essential RequirementsAge 21 or olderRight to work in the UKA clean driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insuranceA minimum of five years' experience working with children in a senior roleNVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 4 in Health/Social Care, Youth Work, or EducationLevel 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services or Children and Young People's Residential Management (or working towards it)Desirable AttributesAn enhanced portable DBSStrong organisational and leadership skills, with experience managing a residential care settingSafeguarding Comes FirstSafeguarding is at the heart of this role.
