Location: London 'surrounding areas Start Date: Immediate We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Testing Engineer to carry out testing, inspection, and certification across a range of commercial projects in London and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to high safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out testing and inspection of electrical installations on commercial sites Complete EICs, EICRs, Minor Works Certificates , and all associated documentation Ensure all electrical works comply with BS7671 (18th Edition) and current regulations Test systems including three-phase distribution, mains supplies, emergency lighting, and power circuits Identify defects, non-compliances, and provide clear reports and recommendations Liaise with site managers, supervisors, and clients to coordinate testing activities Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and used correctly Work safely at all times in accordance with site health 'safety procedures Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience testing commercial electrical installations Strong understanding of BS7671 and inspection & testing procedures Experience with three-phase systems and commercial distribution boards Ability to work independently and manage workloads across multiple sites Confident completing certification accurately and efficiently ECS Gold Card (or equivalent) 18th Edition qualification 2391 / 2394 & 2395 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent) Full UK driving licence Desirable Experience testing on large-scale commercial or fit-out projects Familiarity with emergency lighting and fire alarm interface testing What NRT Group Offers Competitive salary or day rate (depending on contract type) Overtime opportunities Long-term, stable work across London commercial projects TPBN1_UKTJ
