Shift Technician - Critical Facilities Location: Farnborough Salary: Up to 47,500 Shift Pattern: Continental Shift Pattern We are seeking a Shift Technician to support operations within a critical facilities environment. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, contractor supervision, and ensuring safe, reliable site operations. Key Duties Planned and reactive M&E maintenance Complete work orders in line with SLAs using a CMMS Supervise and escort contractors Issue permits to work and carry out authorised isolations Monitor critical services and environmental systems Log incidents and escalate issues Support minor installation and repair works Work as part of a shift team, including cover for holidays and sickness Requirements NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent (Electrical or Mechanical) 18th Edition (or equivalent) Experience in a critical or high-availability environment Good H&S and permit-to-work knowledge Strong communication and basic IT skills Additional Information Shift-based role including weekends and bank holidays Physically fit and comfortable working at height If you are interested in this role, please feel free to get in touch at: TPBN1_UKTJ
