Job Description A well-established and respected Toolmaking company, specialising in both new injection mould tool manufacture and tooling repairs/modifications, is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join their multi-skilled team of CAD Designers and Toolmakers.Up to 45,000, Days Monday - FridayWorking in a state-of-the-art toolroom, you will enjoy a varied workload - ranging from initial concept work through to tool sampling, inspection reporting, modifications, and repair projects.As an Injection Moulding Toolmaker, your duties will include:Manufacturing, servicing, repairing, and modifying injection mould toolsAssessing customer-supplied tooling and components, determining the most effective approach for repair or modificationReverse-engineering and documenting components within injection mould tools, as well as parts used in mechanical and precision engineeringLiaising with the Toolroom Manager to plan and prioritise workloadTo be successful in the role of Toolmaker, the ideal candidate will:Be time-served or hold a recognised mechanical engineering qualificationHave experience repairing and maintaining injection mould toolsBe competent in the use of manual and standard toolroom equipment (lathes, mills, surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, manual spark eroders)Be able to read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D modelsHave experience with CAD, 3D modelling, and CNC machiningIf you're looking for a days-based role within a modern toolroom environment and enjoy a varied workload, click the link to apply!ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
