The role involves working closely with Customers, Suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, lead times, and profitability across our product range.We are a busy manufacturing, well established organisation, and despite difficult times, we are bucking the trend and as our Estimator, you will be key member of our already successful team.Commutable from Northfield, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Worcester, Dudley, Stourbridge, Stourport-on-Severn, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Alvechurch, Studley, Bidford-On-Avon, Leominster and EveshamDUTIESReview Customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to ensure all required information is received, including:Calculate tube developed lengths when necessaryPrepare accurate quotations using the company quotation systemAgree pricing margins and commercial terms with the Managing DirectorDetermine and agree appropriate lead times in consultation with senior managementComplete quotation templates and issue quotations following internal approvalReceive and evaluate supplier quotationsReview Customer Purchase Orders to ensure drawings match those used during quotationLiaise with Purchasing regarding order cancellationsPrice and quote any new tooling required for revised designsCoordinate tooling return or scrappage and ensure records are updated accordinglyEnsure customer-specific tooling is correctly costed and quotedREQUIREMENTSPrevious experience in estimating, costing, or manufacturing engineeringStrong understanding of technical drawings and specificationsCommercial awareness and attention to detailConfident communicator with Customers and SuppliersProficient with ERP or quotation systemsThis is a super opportunity to be part of a successful manufacturing organisation, with the promise of a long and challenging career ahead.If you have the experience and the get up and go what are you waiting for?
