Goods In Quality Inspector / Permanent / Salary up to 28,000 Note:Applicants must be local. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a reputable engineering manufacturing company. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for candidates with quality control experience, particularly within hazardous area and high-pressure equipment manufacturing. Working hours: MondayThursday 07:3016:30, Friday 07:3012:30. The Quality Inspector will ensure products meet strict quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: Inspect incoming products for consistency and integrity, including dimensional checks, electrical resistance, coating thickness/condition, and PMI. Review material and works test reports for traceability and compliance with order specifications. Communicate with external providers regarding rejections and corrective action reports. Verify parts against orders, conduct visual and electrical testing of spares, and process for dispatch. Maintain accurate inspection records (hard and soft copies) and help resolve any issues. Liaise with Engineers, Production Supervisors, and production staff on inspection-related concerns involving heater bundles, pressure vessels, and control panels. Support and assist with training new and trainee staff. Work in line with Quality and Health & Safety Management systems, meeting BS EN ISO 9001 requirements. Assist with additional Quality Control tasks as required. Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, internal policies, and specifications. The successful Quality Inspector will have FMCG and non-food manufacturing inspection experience, strong knowledge of ISO 900 standards, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
