With an established reputation for reliability and compliance, we work with clients across commercial and social housing sectors to provide safe, efficient, and sustainable building services.As part of our continued growth, were seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Testing Engineer to support our Electrical Division on key commercial contracts across Bromley and surrounding areas.The RoleThis role involves carrying out EICR inspections, planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), and remedial works on commercial properties to ensure ongoing compliance, safety, and operational efficiency. Youll play a key role in maintaining high standards of electrical safety and customer service across our portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct periodic inspection and testing (EICRs) on commercial electrical installations.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and identify remedial actions where required.Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime.Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems in line with current regulations.Complete accurate certification and digital reporting through company systems.Ensure full compliance with BS7671 and other relevant standards.Work collaboratively with site managers, clients, and other engineers to deliver a high-quality service.What Youll NeedNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualification.18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).Proven experience in commercial electrical testing and maintenance.Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical information.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Strong awareness of health and safety and attention to detail.What We Offer40,000 - 46,000 + Call Outs (OTE 50,000+)Company van, fuel card, and uniform provided23 days annual leave + bank holidays (option to buy/sell up to 3 days)Pension schemeOngoing training and professional developmentGroup Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Access to Virtual GP and Online Physiotherapy services
