Job Description AI Engineer - Elite Sports Tech - LondonAI Engineer needed to join a highly skilled Engineering & AI team in a rapidly growing sports tech company.Role and Responsibilities:Design, build, and deploy Large Language Model (LLM)-driven applications into productionDevelop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for real-time insights from performance and wearable dataOptimise and fine-tune LLMs for efficiency, scalability, and accuracy in production environmentsBuild and maintain robust data pipelines and scalable backend components in PythonCollaborate cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers to ship AI-first featuresRequirements:2+ years of hands-on AI Engineering experience, with strong software engineering fundamentalsProven experience working with LLMs in production (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or API integrations)Proficiency in PythonExperience designing and deploying RAG pipelines (vector databases, embeddings, retrieval optimisation)Academic Excellence: BSc or MSc in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related technical field from a top universityFamiliarity with frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndexPassionate about sports, health, or fitness youll feel right at home hereBonus points if you:Have worked with unstructured data (text, documents, time-series) and applied NLP techniquesHave experience scaling LLM systems using cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)AI Engineer - Elite Sports Tech - London
