Our client based in Newton Abbot are seeking a reliable and motivated Stores Person to manage vehicle parts and materials within a busy coachwork and repair environment. This will be a full time role, Monday - Friday. 08:00-17:00. Own transport is required due to the location of the site. Key Responsibilities: Receiving, checking, and booking in vehicle parts and materials Organising and maintaining an efficient parts store Issuing parts to technicians as required Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages Liaising with suppliers and assisting with parts ordering Maintaining accurate records and documentation Keeping the stores area clean, safe, and well organised About You: Previous experience as a stores person or in parts handling (automotive experience preferred) Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills for stock control systems Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Limited include: Weekly pay Online Payslips 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Pension contribution Choice of long term, short term and odd days or weekends available Flexible shift pattern Possible permanent positions following successful trial period Ongoing assignments throughout 2026 The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
