7.5 Tonne Driver Guildford People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Guildford . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, consistent weekday work, and ongoing training and support. Shifts Monday to Friday Start times from 08:00 Rates of Pay 15.91 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As a 7.5 Tonne Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required) Operating 7.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely Adhering to all traffic laws and company procedures Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills To be successful as a 7.5 Tonne Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category C1 licence Minimum 12 months' C1 driving experience No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements) A valid UK CPC and Digi Card Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and time-keeping Strong understanding of road traffic regulations Good communication skills Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided Ongoing training and support throughout the assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a 7.5 Tonne Driver , apply today by clicking the link or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
