Job Description Days: 3 days per weekInitial Term: 12-week pilot (with potential to extend or convert subject to outcomes)Location: UK-wide (remote with occasional travel for meetings)Oasis Home Services is an Ofsted-registered semi-independent supported accommodation provider for young people aged 1618. We work in close partnership with Local Authorities, social workers, personal advisers and commissioning teams to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred placements that support young people towards independence.As part of our planned growth, we are seeking an experienced professional to support and strengthen our referrals, placements and Local Authority relationships on a temporary basis.This role is focused on building and maintaining high-quality referral pathways, strengthening relationships with Childrens Services teams, and ensuring referrals are appropriate, timely and well-managed.The post holder will act as a professional representative and trusted point of contact for Oasis Home Services with Local Authority placement and commissioning teams across the UK.This role is not a sales or marketing position and is only suitable for candidates with direct experience of Childrens Services, compliance, referrals or commissioning environments.Key ResponsibilitiesReferrals & PlacementsManage and coordinate end-to-end referral processes for semi-independent placementsLiaise directly with social workers, personal advisers, brokerage and placements teamsComplete, review and quality-check referral forms and supporting documentationEnsure referrals are appropriate and aligned with Oasiss safeguarding and support criteriaMaintain a clear, accurate referrals pipeline and trackerPartnerships & Commissioning EngagementBuild and sustain professional relationships with Local Authority Childrens Services teamsAttend virtual and in-person meetings with placement and commissioning teams as requiredAct as a consistent point of contact for referral enquiries and placement discussionsSupport engagement with frameworks and commissioning arrangements where applicableQuality & Professional StandardsWork closely with Oasis management and QA staff to ensure placement suitability and risk awarenessSupport feedback loops with Local Authorities regarding placement outcomes and expectationsUphold professional, ethical and safeguarding-focused practice at all timesReporting & OutcomesProvide concise weekly updates on activity, referrals and progressContribute to a 12-week review against agreed outcomes and KPIsEnsure systems, contacts and processes are documented and transferableQualificationsStrong expertise in New Business Development and Business Development to identify, pursue, and cultivate opportunities in the children's service sector.Experience in Contract Negotiation and Account Management to maintain strong relationships with clients and partners and ensure compliance with agreed terms.Sales knowledge and the ability to adapt sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and growth objectives.Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder relationship skills.Previous experience in social services, child welfare, or a related field is desirable.Proven ability to work on-site and effectively collaborate with teams to achieve targets.Bachelors degree in Business, Social Work, or a related field is preferred, but demonstrable experience in a similar role will be considered.Knowledge of the West London regions social care landscape and local authorities is a plus.Essential Experience (Applicants must demonstrate)Proven experience working with Childrens Services in one or more of the following:Referrals and placementsCommissioning or brokerage teamsSupported accommodation, semi-independent or care leaver servicesStrong understanding of:Care leaver pathwaysLocal Authority referral and placement processesExperience completing and managing referral documentationConfident professional communicator, able to engage with social workers and commissionersAbility to work independently, proactively and with discretionDesirable ExperienceExperience working with Ofsted-registered providersExisting relationships with Local Authority placement or commissioning teamsQuality assurance, audit or compliance experience within Childrens ServicesThis Role Is Not Suitable ForCandidates from generic sales, recruitment or marketing backgroundsIndividuals without direct Childrens Services or Local Authority experienceEntry-level or junior applicantsWhy This RoleFlexible, part-time (3 days per week) engagementOpportunity to shape referral pathways and professional relationshipsPilot role with potential to extend or convert based on outcomesValues-led organisation focused on quality and safeguardingHow to ApplyPlease submit:Email your CV to [email protected] A short statement outlining your referrals / commissioning backgroundApplications that do not demonstrate direct, relevant experience will not be considered.
