The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Newcastle area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team. Shifts: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am starts (45 hours a week) Pay Rate: 13.31 per hour PAYE Location: Unit S303, Princesway, Gateshead NE11 0UT Job Type: Temp to Perm The role: Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels) Positively?representing?the brand,?maintaining?a clean vehicle and being a courteous?driver Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van Delivery of products,?goods?and parcels safely and efficiently to?designated?locations within set?timeframes Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation,?if necessary and deliver?high standards?of customer?care Properly use?and?maintain?delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to 100 shipments per?day Requirements: A valid UK driver's license Multi- drop experience (preferable) Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
