Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant Part-time, permanent. 20 hours per week @12.21 per hour. Manor Hall Nursing Home is a well-established, family run home in the heart of Old Town, Eastbourne. We are looking for a housekeeper/laundry assistant for 20 hours per week on a rota that includes weekend working to join the team. You will have a keen eye for detail and work as part of a team. You must also be flexible enough to help cover annual leave booked by the rest of the team. Experience working in healthcare or a nursing/care home setting would be an advantage as well as any training in COSHH or Infection Control you may have received. However, full training will be given. Duties will include: Willingness to complete all aspects of cleaning tasks Flexibility to complete various shift patterns Good team and customer skills Willingness to accept training Good communication skills You should have a good understanding of the English language (both written and verbal) as reports and audits will need to be completed to ensure records are kept up to date for the Home Manager and the CQC.
