Job Description FTC - Infrastructure Engineer - Manchester - 66,200The Company: Lorien are working in partnership with one of the UK's leading organisations, known for their ethical values and inclusive culture. With recent expansion and a growing digital footprint, they're now seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to help shape and support their Windows Server estate across both traditional datacentre and cloud platforms.The Role: This is a hands-on technical role with strategic influence. You'll be the subject matter expert for Windows Server infrastructure, supporting mission-critical applications and contributing to the development of future-ready systems. The team covers both run and build activities, so whether your strengths lie in troubleshooting, governance, or designing new systems, there's scope to make this role your own.You'll be working within an ITIL-aligned environment, collaborating with peers and contributing to the organisation's digital transformation.The Skill Requirements: Successful candidates will have a blend of the following:Expert-level experience with multiple versions of Windows Server OSStrategic-level knowledge of Active DirectoryStrong understanding of Group Policy, DNS, DHCPMicrosoft Exchange Server administration experienceExcellent troubleshooting skills across Windows-based applicationsFamiliarity with core protocols: TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP(S), SMTP, SSH, Telnet, TLS/SSL, SNMPExperience working within an ITIL frameworkThe Benefits:Salary up to 66,200 (12-month FTC)Hybrid working model (1 day onsite in Coventry)Discretionary bonus schemeInclusive and ethical working environmentOfficially recognised as a "Great Place to Work" If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, submit your application to be considered.
