Job Description We're recruiting for organised Assistant Bodyshop Manager to help with the running of our Ayr Bodyshop.We offer:Up to 50,000 OTE plus benefitsEnhanced Saturday rates paidBYD, AyrStarting from 33 days' annual leave (with room to grow)Flexible hoursToolbox coverGenerous employee discountsOpportunities to review your salary yearlyPrivate healthcare and sick pay coverMaternity and paternity packagesHoursFull time: Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays 8am - 12pmAbout the roleAs an Arnold Clark Assistant Bodyshop Manager, you'll be responsible for helping the smooth and effective running of our accident repair centres alongside the Bodyshop Manager, dealing with customers and working as a team to restore cars to their former glory.The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the motor industry, and be a proactive, organised person who can meet and exceed targets while managing a team.Day-to-day-dutiesLiaising with customers and dealing with their requirements, delivering excellent customer service at all timesLiaising with the Bodyshop Manager to manage a team of staffCarrying out bodyshop quality control checksCarrying out updates to internal systemsEstimating and invoicing using AudatexMotivating your staff to achieve targets and maximising productivityMaking sure everyone adheres to company policy and health and safety best practice including housekeepingEssential skillsProven experience in a similar management role in the automotive sectorGood computer literacyStrong communication and influencing skillsA positive and proactive attitudeHigh levels of organisation and attention to detailAbility to motivate staff to reach targetsPrevious Audatex estimating experienceA full, clean driving licence, held for a minimum of one yearNice to have (but not essential)A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelOur Culture Arnold Clark is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
