Job Description YT Technologies are on the lookout for aSysOps Engineer to join one of ourclients in Bath. In this role, youll play a key role in maintaining and improving infrastructure performance, security, and availability across multiple environments.Key Responsibilities;Manage and monitor production, staging, and development environments to ensure stability and uptimeMaintain and improve network, server, and storage infrastructure (AWS VPC, EC2, etc.)Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform and AnsibleSupport continuous improvement through upgrades, cloud-native services, and process optimisationCollaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable systemsCriteria;2+ years hands-on experience managing AWS production workloads at scaleStrong Linux systems administration backgroundProficiency with Terraform, Ansible (or similar tools)Knowledge of scripting (Bash/Python), CI/CD, and version control (Git)Experience in incident response and disaster recoveryStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetNice to HaveAWS Associate certification (or interest in achieving it)Exposure to containerised environments or Azure workloadsIf interested, please apply with your most recent CV and I will be in touch to discuss further.JBRP1_UKTJ
