This is a key senior hire for the organisation and offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the compliance function during an exciting period of expansion.If youre a seasoned compliance leader with a strong understanding of FCA regulation and experience operating in a highly regulated environment, this is a role where you can truly make an impact and help shape the future of the business.----------------------------------------The RoleAs Head of Compliance, youll lead the compliance function and ensure the business maintains full FCA compliance across all areas of its Claims Management operations. Youll set the compliance strategy, develop robust policies, oversee regulatory reporting, and drive a strong culture of compliance across the organisation.This is a hands-on and highly influential role working closely with the COO and senior leadership team.----------------------------------------Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the compliance team, embedding a culture of high standards and accountabilityEnsure full FCA compliance across claims handling, customer communication, data protection, and financial processesDevelop and maintain all internal compliance policies and proceduresTake ownership of all regulatory reporting and act as the main point of contact with the FCAProactively identify and manage regulatory risks, implementing effective mitigation strategiesOversee internal compliance audits and investigationsDeliver training and ongoing regulatory awareness to staff at all levelsWork collaboratively with senior leadership, legal, operations, and risk teams to ensure compliance is embedded business-wideImplement and manage a robust compliance monitoring frameworkKeep the business ahead of regulatory changes and industry developments----------------------------------------What We're Looking ForMinimum 5 years experience in a compliance role within Claims Management or financial servicesStrong working knowledge of FCA regulations and requirementsProven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and inspire a compliance teamExcellent analytical, risk management, and problem-solving skillsConfident communicator with the ability to influence at senior levelExperience with compliance systems, reporting tools, and regulatory frameworksRelevant compliance qualifications (ICA, ACAMS etc.) are desirable but not essential----------------------------------------DesirableExperience in claims management, consumer credit, or another highly regulated sectorStrong understanding of GDPR and data protection within a claims environmentAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities----------------------------------------Why Join?Highly competitive salary (with flexibility for the right candidate)Opportunity to lead compliance in a growing, forward-thinking organisationReal influence at senior level with autonomy to shape compliance strategySupportive, collaborative culture with strong leadership backing----------------------------------------If youre an experienced compliance leader looking for a senior role where you can drive meaningful change in a growing business, wed love to hear from you.This vacancy is being handled by Aspire Recruitment.
