Job Description Hygiene Technician / Grease Hygiene Technician Team Leader Our client is a specialist contractor in cleaning and ventilation services, currently seeking a dedicated candidate to join the Hygiene Technician division / Grease Hygiene division. There clients include leading national hotel groups, restaurant chains, and food-on-the-go brands, all committed to maintaining the highest hygiene standards. As proud members of BESA, they provide comprehensive training to ensure all team members meet industry benchmarks.Key Responsibilities:Travel to various client sites across the UK to deliver hygiene servicesClean ventilation systems including canopies, ductwork, and fan units in line with TR19 standardsInstall access panels where necessary to support compliance and maintenanceWork safely in confined spaces and at height, adhering to site-specific protocolsCommunicate professionally with clients to ensure clarity and satisfactionConduct thorough risk assessments prior to commencing workComply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company proceduresCandidate Requirements:Full UK driving licenceExperience working at height and in confined spaces is advantageousMust hold a General Hygiene Technician (GHT) qualification with experience with TR19 ductwork cleaningProven ability to lead and motivate a teamWillingness to work flexible hours shifts typically begin late afternoon/early evening and may involve overnight staysStrong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to qualityWhat We Offer:Competitive starting salary: 27,500 30,000 (dependent on experience)Based in the Birmingham/Lichfield areaCompany VanStructured shift pattern: alternating 4-day and 5-day working weeks, with every other Friday offSemi-flexible evening/night shifts4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidaysHealth Shield plan for wellbeing supportJBRP1_UKTJ
